Two college students were awarded a stipend of Rs. 5000 each as Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to carry with their further studies
We held a youth convention on 18th June 2023, Sunday in which nearly 60 students from different schools enthusiastically participated. In the convention, we arranged a competition where the participants were evaluated by two judges who were teachers from renowned schools and the participants were asked a question on morality and service before they were able to select a topic and present an extempore speech. The participants were evaluated on their thinking behind answering the question and the content, pronunciation, confidence of the extempore speech delivered by the participants. Four winners were selected among the participants and awarded from which two winners were selected for the All-India Youth Convention to be held at Belur Math in December 2023. Consolation prizes were given to all the participants. Swami Arunatmananda and Srimati Pranoti Roy, Ex-Principal Vivekananda Kendriya Vidahlaya, Tinsukia one of the judges to guide the assembled youth on 'Personality Development & Social Development' as per Swami Vivekananda's ideas and ideals. Nearly 70 including participants, winners, judges, volunteers, and the monastics partook the noon prasad.
