The Celebration Tithi Puja of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Deva
Tithi Puja of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Deva is celebrated in Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi. The day started with ‘Magalarati’, ‘Vedic chanting’, ‘Stotrapatha & Devotional Singing’. After that ‘Nitya Puja’, ‘Special Puja’, ‘Homa’ and ‘Anna Bhoga’ were performed. ‘Sri Sri Ramakrishna Punthi’ was read. Cooked Anna Prasad was distributed to about 500 devotees. In the evening, after ‘Sandhya Arati’, devotional songs were presented and Spiritual discourse was given. Prasad was again distributed in hand among 200 devotees.

Tithi Puja of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi is celebrated in Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi. The day starts with Magalarati, Vedic chanting and Stotrapatha, Special Puja, Anna Bhoga offering along with Homa . Sri Sri Chandi Path and Sri Sri Sarada Punthi reading is also done. Cooked Anna Prasad is distributed to more than 650 devotees.
A ‘Dharma-Sabha’ was arranged from 3.30 P.M. where dignitaries share their thoughts on the dais. ‘Geeti-Alekhya’ and other devotional songs were performed. After evening arati Sri Sarada Nam Sankirtan was sung along some bhakti-geeti. A spiritual discourse on Sri Sri Holy Mother was given. Prasad was distributed in hand within the devotees present.

Swami Vivekananda is celebrated at Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi. The day started with Magalarati, Vedic chanting, & Stotrapatha, ‘Katha Upanishada Prathama Valli’ patha, Special Puja, Anna Bhoga and Homa. Lectures from ‘Bharate Vivekananda’ were read. Cooked Anna Prasad was distributed.
After evening prayer in the prayer hall devotional songs were performed and a spiritual discourse on Swami Vivekananda was given. Prasad was distributed in hand within the devotees present.

The Celebration of Sri Sri Annapurna Puja
Sri Sri Annapurna Devi is worshipped in her clay image at Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi . Divine mother’s ‘Adhivas’ was performed the previous day. The main puja started with the ‘Worship’ of the divine mother followed by ‘Anna-bhoga’, ‘Anna-Kut Yatra’ & ‘Homa’. ‘Bhaktipurna-Pushpanjali’s’ are offered by the devotees ‘Anna Prasad’ was distributed to about 3500 devotees.
In the evening, after Sri Sri Thakur’s ‘Arati’, ‘Sandhya Arati’ of the divine mother was performed followed by a ‘Bhajananjali’ of devotional songs and a spiritual discourse on the significance of Sri Sri Annapurna Puja. After ‘Arati’, prasad was again distributed in hand among 1500 devotees.
Next day, after Thakur’s ‘Mangal-Arati’, ‘Arati’ of the divine mother was performed followed by her ‘worship’ with offering of ‘Dadhikarma’. ‘Shanti Jal’ was sprinkled to the devotees after Sri Sri Thakur’s ‘Sandhya-Arati’. The worship of the divine mother Sri Sri Annapurna was unique in the surrounding nearby townships.
The Kalpataru Utsav
The 1st of January Kalpataru Day is observed in Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi. Bhagawan Shri Ramakrishna was worshiped in the evening under the ‘Kalpataru Tree’ at around 2.45P.M. Naividya, puffed rice & ‘jilapi’ was offered to Sri Sri Thakur. Later prasad was distributed to about 500 devotees present.
The celebration of Shri Shri Siv Ratri
Sri Sri Mahashivratri was celebrated in Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi. In the evening, after ‘Sandhya Arati’, a special worship was offered to Bhagawan Shiv. Arati, devotional songs, and Anna Bogha were offered to the deity. Cooked prasad was served to about 100 devotees.
