Rongali Bihu is a traditional ethnic festival celebrated in the northeastern Indian state of Assam and other parts of Northeastern India by the indigenous ethnic groups of Assam and marks the beginning of the Assamese New Year and is the main festival in the state of Assam. To celebrate Rongali Bihu Indian oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Digboi Branch first time organized a series of programmes in Digboi which also included a procession from all the socio-cultural societies
In response to the above, a colorful team of 50 devotees and well-wishers along with a monastic member attended the procession. The devotees displayed several placards in Assamese with the message of Sri Sri Thakur, Swamiji and best wishes for Rongali Bihu. It was the half-day programme and the participants were fed after the completion of the rally.
