Ramakrishna Mission, Digboi successfully observed the 77^th Independence Day when our beloved Mother Land completed 76 years of Independence on 15th August 2023 (Tuesday). A short programme was organized at the ashrama premises from 06:45A.M to 07.30A.M where more than 50 well-wishers, inmates, volunteers and earnest devotees of Ramakrishna Mission Digboi were present. Sri Abhijit Roy, Vice-President of Ramakrishna Mission Digboi Managing committee, hoisted and unfurled the national flag in the ashrama premises at,7.15 A.M. The national anthem was sung in honor of the country. A small talk on Independence was given by Sri Abhijit Roy. The programme ended with the singing of 'Bande Mataram' and serving some refreshments to the assembled.
